Decoupage with gelatin glue

1. Hard boil the eggs.
2. Prepare gelatin glue. To do this, pour the gelatin with water in the proportions indicated on the specific gelatin package and soak. Strain it through a strainer and remove excess liquid. Heat the gelatin and wait for the granules to dissolve.
3. Choose napkins with beautiful colored designs. White eggs look better as a background, although it all depends on the color of the napkin.
4. Peel off the top layer of the napkin and cut out the part you like.
5. Attach the picture to the shell. Apply gelatin glue over the design from the center to the edges.

On the printer, you can print any picture that you liked from my links, and if there are napkins or decoupage cards.

Decoupage Easter eggs with glue on starch

boiled white eggs

starch

water

tassel

napkins with small patterns

food coloring (silver and gold)

Remove the bottom two layers from the napkins and make blanks for ornaments and drawings. Manually make small pieces of flowers.

Distribute the selected elements on the surface of the eggs. Do this with a brush and plain water. Try to smooth out every crease.

Make a starch paste. For 2 teaspoons of corn or potato starch, take 50 ml of water and heat in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Then stir, again put for 20 seconds, stir again, another 10 seconds in the microwave, stir again, cook again for 10 seconds and stir for the last time. The paste is ready!

Now it remains to smear the napkin ornament applied with a brush with water with paste and leave everything to dry. You can use pre-beaten egg white instead of starch.

After the ornamented Easter eggs have dried, that is, after 15 minutes, cover them with a final decorative layer. To do this, add food coloring to a small amount of paste.

Decorated eggs should be dried on the wire rack. Beautiful, is not it?

Decoupage wooden eggs for gifts and souvenirs - from here

We will need: wooden blanks, paper napkins with a picture (in specialized stores for creative hobbies, sometimes there is a whole section with such napkins and other materials for decoupage), acrylic primer, colored acrylic paints, decoupage glue (or PVA), transparent acrylic varnish, scissors, brushes, pieces of kitchen sponge

1. Let's prepare our blanks for further decoration using acrylic primer.

2. After the primer is dry, apply acrylic paint of a suitable shade with a piece of ordinary kitchen sponge. Paint can also be applied with a brush, but a sponge helps to get a more even coverage. If you need to speed up the drying of the paint, you can use a hairdryer.

3. Choose a floral motif from paper napkins, preferably with motifs on a white background. We cut it out with small (manicure) scissors or carefully cut off the motifs, partially leaving a white background. Separate the top layer with the pattern from the rest.

4. You can choose one of the following methods to glue the image:
- first apply glue to the base, attach a picture and smooth it;
- attach the picture to the base and apply glue on top.

Decoupage glue can be replaced with PVA glue, diluted to the consistency of liquid sour cream. It is better to use a thin brush with natural or synthetic soft bristles for gluing motifs. After gluing each element, let the glue dry. After all the parts of the flower arrangement are glued into place, we need to consolidate our work.

5. Cover the eggs with clear acrylic varnish using a medium-sized soft brush ...

And we are waiting for complete drying.

It remains to assemble the composition: fill the basket with sisal, place the decoupled eggs inside, decorate with flowers and ladybirds.

Our Easter decoration is ready!

Good evening to all readers of Alimero! Last year, I shared with you my favorite way of staining testicles - stripes. And today I would like to present to your attention Easter eggs decorated using decoupage technique.

For such a decor of eggs you will need:

The eggs themselves, already boiled. I boil eggs for a long time - 1-2 hours, it turns out "baking". They last longer and are much tastier, in my opinion. In any case, it's worth boiling for 15 minutes.

Napkins. Find the ones that you like the drawing. Of course, the New Year or autumn theme will be out of place here. Napkins can be taken as single-layer or three-layer. In the latter case, separate the layers and use only the top one.

Brush for applying protein and gluing elements.

Toothpicks. We will dry our eggs on them.

So that is all! You can start decorating.

Stage I. Blanks

First, carefully cut out, following the lines, napkin patterns suitable for decoupage.

It is better to think over the composition in advance (you can attach cuttings to the testicles), so that it does not turn out that you do not have enough blanks or that this or that element does not fit.

Keep in mind that the larger the picture you cut out, the more difficult it will be to stick it exactly, because the eggs have a complex shape.

Stage II. Preparation of the "glue" and its application

Beat the protein a little (I even overdid it a little, I got too many bubbles).

Lubricate the entire testicle with a brush with protein.

Attention!

1. Eggs become slippery after lubrication with protein. Be careful, they are easy to break!

2. Watch closely the surface of the egg. Any hair will be visible here and will subsequently stick.

Stage III. Drawing and fixing

Put the cut out element on the egg smeared with egg white, help it stick with your finger and brush, covering it again with protein on top.

Having glued one element in this way, we move on to another, also leveling it and securing it on top with a new layer of "glue".

Attention!

When dealing with the following elements, try not to touch the already glued ones, they are very easy to dislodge or wrinkle.

When all the elements are applied, gently brush again over the entire egg.

Then gently place it on two toothpicks. It is desirable that they touch the drawing as little as possible.

Let the egg dry, then coat it again whole with egg white to secure. And again send to toothpicks until completely dry. Do the same with the other eggs.

I hope this topic will be interesting and useful. Decorate eggs in this way and treat your friends and acquaintances, because the whole Easter week is festive!

Happy Holidays! With the Bright Resurrection of Christ! =)

Decoupage

Decoupage (from French decoupage -noun, "what is cut") is a technique of decoration, decoration using cut paper motifs. Chinese peasants in the XII century. began to decorate furniture in this way. And in addition to the cut pictures from thin colorful paper, they began to varnish it to make it look like a painting! So, along with beautiful furniture, this technique also came to Europe.

Today the most popular material for decoupage - these are three-layer napkins. Hence the other name - " napkin technique " ... The application can be absolutely limitless - dishes, books, boxes, candles, vessels, musical instruments, flower pots, bottles, furniture, shoes, and even clothes! Any surface - leather, wood, metal, ceramics, cardboard, textiles, gypsum - should be plain and light, because the pattern cut from the napkin must be clearly visible.

Easter

Easter (ancient Greek . πάσχα, lat. Pascha, from Hebrew. פסח passover , letters. from Heb. "Passing by") in Christianity; See also the Resurrection of Christ (Old Greek . Ἡ Ανάστασις τοῦ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ) - the oldest Christian holiday; the most important holiday of the liturgical about of the year. Installed in honor of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. At present, its date in each specific year is calculated according to the lunisolar calendar (rolling holiday).

Master Class

Master Class (MK) is the transfer of his professional experience by the master (teacher), his consistent verified actions leading to a predetermined result.

To publish a master class, the work must be the author's (invented and made by you). If you used someone else's idea, you must indicate the author. (The link to the source should not lead to a site containing the sale of goods or services, since links to commercial sites are prohibited in accordance with clause 2.4. PS).

Your master class should not completely duplicate the one already in the Land of Masters. Before publishing, check through the search that there are no similar MKs on the site.

The process should be photographed in stages (see Tips for taking pictures of crafts) or filmed (see how to upload a video).

The order of registration: the first photo is the finished work that is proposed to be performed, the second photo is the materials and tools necessary for the work (or their detailed description), then the MC stages from the first to the last. The final photo (result of work) can repeat the very first one. Photos should be accompanied by clear and competent comments on the process.

If you have already published your MK on another site and you also want to publish it with us, then you need to follow all the rules for designing an MK described above. In other words: in the entry with the MK type, you cannot just put a photo of the finished product and a link to a master class on another website.

Attention: all master classes in the Land of Masters are checked by site assistants. If the requirements of the Master Class section are not met, the type of entry will be changed. If the User Agreement of the site is violated, for example, copyright is violated, the record will be removed from publication.

You can decorate eggs with children, everything is very simple. For the master class you will need:

 • boiled eggs,
 • napkins with different patterns,
 • brushes,
 • any kind of glue.
The basic principles of decoupage eggs with napkins do not depend on glue:
 1. Peel off the top color layer from the napkin.
 2. Cut or gently tear out a drawing or part of it with your hands. It is better to leave a small allowance around the edges - then it will be covered with glue.
 3. Glue on the egg - the softer the better, the napkins are very thin.
 4. Dry - it is most convenient to do this on a wire rack or egg stands.

Easter eggs decoupage glue

In decoupage, PVA or silicate glue is usually used. If you do this, the eggs will be inedible. Therefore, it is better to choose one of the homemade glue options that will not harm them.
 1. Egg white. The simplest, so to speak, "recipe" for decoupage glue. Separate the raw white from the yolk, smear the desired area of the eggshell surface - and immediately carefully glue the picture on top until your glue is dry.
 2. Gelatinous glue. Dissolve a bag of gelatin in water, heat, stir to avoid lumps, cool. Attention - this glue is applied over the drawing!
 3. Water and paste. Pour some water into one bowl, stir with 2 tablespoons of water in the other. flour, put in the microwave for 10-15 seconds - the mass will thicken a little. First coat each egg with plain water, glue the drawing, then apply the paste.
The end result is unusual and very cute Easter eggs.

It's already spring outside, so it's time to think about Easter. Today I want to tell you in detail and show in the photo how in a simple way to decoupage Easter eggs with napkins. The main thing here is to fill your hand, have a good mood, and you will succeed. And when you repeat this fascinating process, for the second and subsequent times, Easter eggs will turn out better and more spectacular. Plus, they require zero artistic ability and attract kids to this creative hobby.

The basis of the decoration technology is that after the eggs are hard-boiled, cut flowers or other images from paper napkins are glued to them.

As an adhesive solution, you can use ready-made Mod Podge water glue or prepare yourself on the basis of egg white, starch or wheat flour. After Easter eggs with paper napkins, put on a convenient wire rack and dry.

According to the recipe for decoupage Easter eggs, we do this:

1. First, prepare all the ingredients and tools for decorating eggs. For work we need paper napkins with various patterns, egg white, a small brush and scissors. Protein is released from one egg for use as glue later.

We prepare all the ingredients and auxiliary tools for decorating eggs

Next, select single-layer napkins

3. Cut out individual fragments, if the drawing allows, then it is better to break it with your hands so that the joints are not so sharply visible. It is better to pick up napkins with a small pattern, then they are easy to work with and quickly lay down smoothly on the surface of the shell.

Cutting pretty close to the design; if you leave too much extra space, it will collect on your dyes when you glue it. Don't worry if your napkin is textured and not smooth, you can iron it all over later!

Cut out individual fragments in a napkin

4. Then we put the eggs to boil for ten minutes after boiling. To prevent the eggs from deforming during cooking, they should not be taken from the refrigerator, but so that they stand for a while in the room. Immerse the finished eggs in cold water for 3-4 minutes, wrap them in a towel, and then put them on a plate.

After we set the eggs to boil for ten minutes

5. Now we carry out work with each egg separately. For convenience, we put them in a special egg stand or other convenient device, attach the tenderloin to the egg. Dip the brush into the protein mixed with a fork and apply it to the surface of our fragment.

With a soft brush, gently smooth the entire surface and forming folds. We glue the next picture with a little overlap of the second decor so that the joints between the pictures are not so visible. Important! Be careful not to make the tissue too wet or it will rip when you flatten it!

Glue the drawing to the boiled egg

6. Place the eggs on the wire rack for a few minutes to dry well.

Putting eggs on the grates

7. I like to decorate eggs this way, there are no chemical dyes, everything is done quickly and easily.
