Bonsai from wisteria beads. Wisteria from beads - a detailed weaving master class

Today we will again weave a tree from beads. The topic of this tutorial is blooming beaded wisteria. As a rule, weaving of any beaded tree consists of the same stages. But to create each individual tree, it is necessary to introduce its characteristic "zest", which one you will learn from our step-by-step master class and weaving pattern.

Tools and materials Time: 120 hours Difficulty: 6/10

  • wire;
  • yellow beads;
  • pink beads;
  • lilac-purple beads;
  • green beads in two shades;
  • floss threads of dark brown (black) color.

Step-by-step instruction

This gorgeous blooming beaded wisteria is really worth spending more than one day making. So let's get to work.

Step 1: making branches with flowers

As you may have noticed, wisteria branches are made up of loops of different sizes. The numbers on the diagram indicate how many beads correspond to each pair of loops. Lilac twigs are woven in the same way as green ones. In total, you need to weave 75-80 green and 55-60 lilac branches. You can make several branches, consisting of 6-8 rows. This will make the crown of our wisteria more lush.

Step 2: collect the tree

Now let's start assembling the tree. The appearance of the tree depends on how carefully this is done.

First, twist 2 branches and wrap tightly with thread. We continue to enlarge the branches, adding 2-5 branches of the previous level. There should be 5 main branches. We wrap them tightly with threads. We fix one large branch on a piece of rigid wire and wrap it with thread. We fasten the remaining branches below, while artistically twisting them around the main trunk. We also slightly bend the branches and twigs.

Step 3: fix the tree in the pot

Our beaded wisteria is ready. Now, for stability, it needs to be planted in a pot on plaster. If you wish, you can create a whole composition, for example, as in the topmost photo.

Everyone knows that wisteria is very beautiful. It is simple to make, but laborious. The DIY bead wisteria master class with step-by-step photos will help you master the popular technique of beading quickly and effortlessly.

The tree of happiness can be made from the following materials:

  1. Lilac, pink, light pink and white beads for flowers;
  2. Green in two shades for leaves;
  3. 0.3; 0.4; one; 3 mm wire;
  4. PVA glue;
  5. Alabaster or gypsum;
  6. The paint is brown;
  7. Foil or sachets;
  8. Brush;
  9. Stones and beads, shells, etc. (to decorate the reservoir);
  10. Light blue gel candle or transparent sealant (for the reservoir itself);
  11. Capacity (you can cut the bottom out of a bottle of soda water) or take a stand for indoor flowers.

Weave together

The wisteria weaving pattern is not complicated, but it requires attention and perseverance. Let's start with wisteria twigs.

Step 1

Take the thinnest wire you need - 0.3 mm, about a meter. Put 6 beads on it, slide them into the middle of the wire and twist an oval loop.

Step 2

To the left of this loop, 12 more of the same loops must be made.

You need to be very careful about the color scheme. Every 2 loops the number of beads will increase, pay attention to this.

The first two loops of 7 beads of the same color as the central loop (lilac); the second two loops of 9 beads - three pieces each, first pink, then three lilac, then pink again; the third pair of loops of 10 pink and 4 light pink; the fourth two loops are 4 pink, 4 light pink, then 4 pink and 4 light pink again; and lastly two loops of 12 pcs. light pink and 13 white beads. If you do everything exactly as described, you will get a smooth color change in the inflorescence.

Step 3

Step 4

The hinges must be turned up towards the center hinge. As a result, we get just such a branch:

There are 32 such branches to be made. Now let's move on to the wisteria leaves.

Step 5

For the leaves, a slightly thicker wire is taken - 0.4 mm.

In this case, you can immediately pick up a lot of beads on the wire and start twisting the loops in the same way as they did for the twigs.

The loops consist of 10 beads and there should be 11 of them. Twist so that you get a branch.

There should also be 32 branches with leaves. You can knit the leaves in a different way (parallel weaving) and they will look different:

And it is woven like this: take 1 bead, thread the ends of the wire from different sides towards it, then string 2 beads, then three, etc. up to 6-8 in a row, then reduce the number of beads one by one. If the leaves are two-colored, then weave one piece at a time with light beads, and in the middle the leaf is dark. And remember, such leaves in wisteria must necessarily look up, and the inflorescences themselves down.Let's start assembling the tree.

Step 6

For assembly, you will need 1 mm wire. You combine a pair with it: a twig and a leaf, which after that must be wrapped with a thick thread. After cm, add 1 more branch, in this way fasten 4 branches.

Step 7

An additional two branches must be screwed to the fifth.

Step 8

Connect all branches with 3 mm wire. Start at the top - connect two large branches and wrap them with thread. Tie one more branch a little lower and process again with thread. Wrap the remaining branches (6 and 8 branches) with thread, and attach to the tree first a large branch, then a smaller one. It is advisable to twist the trunk a little.

Step 9

It's time to prepare the stand. Cut the bottom off the plastic bottle. Pour the mixture into it: alabaster and PVA glue (1: 1). Insert your tree into the stand. Wrap it with foil or place plastic bags over the tree branches to avoid staining it. Coat the trunk with the solution that was poured into the stand, and make a small indentation for the future reservoir near the tree. Before you set the tree to dry, you need to decorate the place near the reservoir, or lay out beads or shells, plant some flower nearby so that it matches the color with your wisteria. Only it must be done in advance, until the alabaster dries up.

Then, when the alabaster is dry, paint the tree trunk with paint: acrylic, watercolor or gouache. Further, to make the reservoir itself, you need to take a gel candle, warm it up in a water bath and immediately pour it into the depression that you made in advance under the tree. Well, there she is. Take a closer look at how it sparkles in the sun. Isn't it a miracle?

In the event that the leaves are made in parallel weaving, then the tree should look something like this:

The idea of \u200b\u200bweaving beaded trees and flowers is gaining more and more popularity among needlewomen who want to decorate their home. To get a beautiful product, you may need to make a drawing of it in advance for a guide in the process. Crafting materials are easy to find in craft stores.

How to weave a wisteria tree from beads

Weaving from beads of trees is a creative business. Making wisteria using small beads is a laborious process that requires patience. To make the ornamental plant as interesting and beautiful as possible, show your imagination. Experiment with the color of the bunches and leaves. For example, for an autumn tree, apply yellow or red when shaping the foliage. The bunches can have different shades. They can act as fruits or inflorescences.

To weave wisteria from beads, you will need materials:

  • beads of different colors:
  • green;
  • white;
  • pale pink;
  • bright pink;
  • lilac (purple).
  • foil;
  • pVA glue;
  • alabaster (gypsum);
  • wires 0.3, 0.4, 1.3 mm thick;
  • plastic bottle;
  • threads;
  • paint (gouache or watercolor) brown.

The scheme for creating a beautiful wisteria tree from beads is built in several stages:

  1. Weaving brushes.
  2. Foliage creation.
  3. Build branches.
  4. Shaping the trunk.
  5. Assembling the whole product, placing it on the stand.

Wisteria brushes

You need to form delicate brushes from beads according to the following instructions:

  1. Take a wire that is 0.3 mm wide. The cut should be 1 m long. String 6 purple beads on it so that they are in the center. Twist the wire to form an oval of beads.
  2. Continue working on one side of the cut. First, make 2 loops of lilac beads, 7 pcs. for each oval.
  3. Next, you need to make 2 loops, adhering to the color sequence in them (3 beads of each color): bright pink, lilac, hot pink.
  4. Then collect the loops containing 10 bright pink beads. Make 2 such petals.
  5. Create 2 loops of different shades of pink with 12 beads each. Alternate colors of 4.
  6. The next 2 petals should contain only 12 light pink beads.
  7. Finish the composition with a pair of white loops. To make each one needs 13 beads.
  8. Fill the other end of the wire with a similar sequence of loops.
  9. Twist both sides of the brush together. Arrange the petals so that they are facing towards the top. Bend their tips slightly to the sides.
  10. To get wisteria, such blanks need 32 pieces.

Leaves

The foliage of the wisteria tree must be weaved using green beads, according to the instructions:

  1. Use a 0.4 mm wire. String 10 beads on it, forming leaves from this amount by twisting by analogy with the elements of the brush.
  2. The leaf is formed from one loop at the top and five on each side. There are 11 ovals in total.
  3. Connect the sides of the wire to each other. You will need 32 blanks.

Build branches

This process is not difficult, take a wire with a thickness of 1 mm, a thread for winding and get to work:

  1. Twist the bunch and wisteria leaf together. Do this with all the blanks.
  2. Then, wire the 2 branches together. To hide ugly metal, wrap them with thread.
  3. From this pair, make an indent of 1 cm and secure 1 more workpiece. A total of 6 branches should have a common trunk. Do the same with the remaining parts. Tie another 2 small blanks to the fifth.

We form the trunk

The trunk of a wisteria tree made of beads is formed by twisting the previously obtained branches, they need to be collected in this order:

  1. Top - 2 branches connected with a wire of 3 mm. Wrap them with thicker thread.
  2. Attach another twig below. Rewind it too.
  3. Attach a branch of 8 blanks, having previously made a winding.
  4. The last part must be wrapped with a thick thread and attached with wire just below the previous one.

As the wisteria blanks are connected, a trunk is formed, which must be hidden under the winding, forming a single structure using twisting. Direct the branches in different directions so that the beaded tree looks beautiful.

Build and install a tree

Start the installation of the resulting decorative wisteria from beads by forming a stand. To do this, cut the bottom of the plastic bottle so that the resulting saucer is not too deep. Carry out the assembly process based on the following steps:

  1. In a plastic saucer, pour a mixture of glue and alabaster, taken in equal proportions.
  2. To keep the beaded tree well, form small support roots, directed in different directions.
  3. Insert the craft into the base. Wait until the mixture of glue and alabaster is completely dry.
  4. Start painting. First, gently apply the paint to the branches. When the parts are dry, wrap them with foil so as not to get dirty when working with the barrel.
  5. Color the base of the wood using several coats of watercolor or gouache mixed with PVA so that the color does not come out transparent. After the dye has dried, the wisteria tree will be ready.

Master class on working with beads

Purpose: weaving wisteria from beads
Tasks: educate an aesthetic taste; instill a love of beauty, perseverance; fine motor skills of the hands.
Using: as a gift, for interior decoration
Wisteria - one of the finest climbing plants, large deciduous lianas with a hard woody trunk. Wisteria flowers, with a delicate sweetish aroma, are collected in large hanging brushes of various colors: white, blue, purple, violet-blue, lilac, pink or purple. In Japan, wisteria is almost as popular as the famous sakura. In China and the countries of the East, wisteria symbolizes fragility, refinement and tenderness. In Japan it is called, like the main mountain of the country Fujiyama, "fuji". The Japanese see beauty, poetry and youth in this flower. According to an ancient Japanese legend, a goddess with a wisteria branch on her shoulder hovers in a glowing cloud above the volcano's crater, protecting the sacred mountain from filth. The name of this goddess means "The princess who makes the trees bloom and the nightingales sing sweetly." This Flower Maiden can bestow the elixir of life on a person. The legend tells of a girl of extraordinary beauty with purple hair at night and blue by day, whose beauty even the goddesses envied. The goddesses could not stand such beauty and sent a dragon to the girl to swallow her. The dragon grabbed the beauty, carried her into the mountains and dealt with her. But after that, the dragon turned into a liana, entwined with trees, and became numb. He tried to burn everything around with a flame from his mouth, but from there, like a memory of the wondrous braids of a beauty, only beautiful purple flowers appeared. This is how wisteria was born. If you come across a blooming wisteria, then according to legend, a person who loves you wants to send you a letter or thinks about you
To work you need:
Beads of green and pink, lilac, white with a shade of pink
Copper wire 0.2mm, 0.4mm
Steel or aluminum wire
Gypsum
PVA glue
Mouline thread
Varnish
Gouache green and brown
Brushes
Pot

Weaving flowers
We measure 120 cm of copper wire with a diameter of 0.2 mm.
We collect 8 pink beads, stretch all the beads to the middle of the wire, twist the loop.

Then two rows of 8 beads and two rows of 10 beads. We place the hinges against each other.

We collect beads of lilac color, we twist loops of 12, 14, 16 beads also in two rows.

And we collect white beads and weave three rows of 18 beads each.

Weaving leaves
We measure 25 cm of wire with a diameter of 0.4 mm
The principle is the same

Press the hinges to the axis, and then bend them back.

Build branches

I got four such branches. Cover the stem of the branches with a solution of gypsum and PVA glue, paint with gouache

Assembling the product
We take a strong wire and attach branches to it in random order. We prepare a solution of gypsum, pour it into a mold and plant our tree. We cover with varnish, you can decorate.

Wisteria consists of many deciduous vines that amaze the imagination with their fabulous unearthly beauty.
Perhaps that is why wisteria from beads is especially popular with almost all lovers of needlework.

Do-it-yourself magic wisteria from beads

Before starting our master class, let's look at a beautiful photo and admire a living tree growing in its natural habitat:

Now imagine that after you finish our master class, you will have a miniature copy of such a delightful and incredibly attractive tree in your home. You can create such a small miracle tree with your own hands that will delight you and your loved ones with its tenderness and fabulous beauty.
So, in order to make wisteria we need the following materials:

  • alabaster or gypsum - 1kg;
  • brush;
  • stand for indoor flower;
  • brown paint;
  • light blue gel candle or transparent sealant;
  • pebbles and beads to decorate the reservoir;
  • medium wire;
  • 4 coils of fine wire;
  • 1 thick wire for the trunk and 7 pieces (25 cm each) for branches;
  • 25 grams of dark green beads;
  • and the same number of light green beads;
  • 30 grams of purple, light pink and transparent white beads.

We will start our master class by creating a bunch. I would like to note right away that we need about 60 such bunches.
We start directly to work.
Cut off about 90 cm of wire from the coil. Then we collect 5 purple beads on it and make a loop in the center, which you will need to scroll 3 times (photo # 1).
Next, we will continue to work with only one end of the wire. First, we will need to put on 6 more beads on it and scroll the resulting loop. Then we make two more loops in the same way, already consisting of 8 and 9 purple beads (photo №2).
Now we will have to create 1 loop with our own hands, consisting of 3 purple, 4 pink and 3 more purple beads. On the next loop, you will need to string first 1 purple, then 10 pink and again 1 purple beads. The seventh loop will consist of 14 pink beads (photo # 3).
The penultimate eyelet on this side will consist of five pink, five white and five more pink beads. And the last loop will be the largest, for it we need 16 white beads (photo # 4).

photo 1
photo 2

photo 3

photo 4 The weaving pattern remains the same and we add the second end of our wire along it. It will look like in photo # 5. In total, we have 17 stitches. Each of which consists of a different number of beads.
Then we will need to twist our twig, starting with the very first loop in the middle (photo # 6).
As a result, you will have a beautiful brush, which will eventually turn into a delightful bunch of wisteria (photo # 7).
We remind you that if you want your tree to turn out lush and thick, you will need to make 60 of these brushes. And then on each brush, turn its loops to the top, while slightly bending the tips.
Look at photo # 8, and you will see what beautiful twigs we got.

photo 5

photo 6

photo 7

photo 8 Weave wisteria leaves After you make all the brushes with your own hands, you will have to start making leaves. For each leaf you need about 25 cm of wire, as well as dark and light green beads.

The pattern of parallel weaving with beads The pattern of weaving the leaves is different from the pattern that we used to create the loops. However, it is also quite simple to perform and our master class will help you master it.
First, put 1 light green bead in the middle of the wire. It will form the basis of your first row.
Then you will need to push the ends of the wire in different directions through 2 light green beads in the second row. We do the third row in the same way.
The weaving pattern we use is called parallel. See how it looks in the schematic drawing.
Pay attention to the fact that in the figure the third row consists of 3 beads, while ours has two. This is due to the fact that our leaf has a diamond shape and with each new row the number of beads increases by one. Until it comes to 8 pcs. Ultimately, it turns out that the core of the leaf is made of dark green beads, and its edges are made of light green beads.
Then we will reduce the number of beads in the same way and narrow our leaflet.

Forming the trunk Now we will start collecting our tree. We need a thick wire as a base for the trunk. We will wind twigs and leaves on it. Pay attention to the fact that we fasten the branches in whole bunches, each of which contains about 10-14 branches. And we will have to screw the leaves so that they "look" upwards, while the vines themselves will hang along the trunk almost to the very "ground".
Next, we will need to form the trunk and additionally reinforce all the branches with a medium wire. Since the wisteria from beads turned out to be quite large and heavy, we will need to make the bottom of its trunk thick enough.

At this stage, our master class will tell you how to create a wisteria stand. In order to make a pot of wood, we will use a regular indoor flower stand. In it we will need to put a mixture consisting of gypsum, glue and water. And then "plant" our tree there and additionally strengthen it by coating the bottom of the trunk with plaster. Do not forget to also make a small depression in advance, which will later turn into a beautiful body of water.

Before you set your tree aside until the gypsum is completely dry, you will need to "plant" a small flower near it. In our case, this is a lily made according to the French weaving pattern. It is better to make it in advance, so that later you can decorate the stand with it before the plaster begins to dry. Of course, it is not at all necessary to decorate the meadow near the wisteria with a lily. You can easily make some other exotic flower, such as an orchid or passionflower. The main thing is that your flowers go well with the wisteria itself and give your composition the necessary completeness.

After the plaster is completely dry in the stand, you will need to gently apply it to the branches. In order not to accidentally stain the beads, you can pre-wrap the branches with foil.
After applying gypsum to the trunk and branches, you will have to wait until it is completely dry, and only after that you can start painting.
On this, the master class on weaving wisteria can be considered complete. We just have to decorate the meadow near our tree. Let's make a pond first. The photo shows that we have chosen a suitable place for it in advance and made a small indentation there.
Now in this "hole" we will have to pour a gel candle melted in a water bath. This must be done very quickly, since the candle freezes almost instantly.
You can decorate the glade itself with green and light green beads, small pebbles, shells or decorative bushes. It all depends on your imagination and personal preference.

Bright sunny wisteria

Let's start another master class that will help us create a delightful and incredibly vibrant wisteria. The tree that you make with your own hands will sparkle in warm sunlight. It will warm you with its warmth and help you mentally transport yourself to a warm, bright day.
So, before you start beading, you must prepare everything you need to work:

  • scissors and nippers;
  • wooden stand;
  • green moss;
  • dark brown threads;
  • brown floral ribbon;
  • thick 2 mm wire;
  • thin wire;
  • beads number 10: transparent green, yellow, transparent orange and light orange.

Schematic drawing of weaving of wisteria branches To begin with, we will need to make about 50 tassels of beads. Their weaving pattern is quite simple.
We start beading with yellow loops (about 5 pieces), then we make about 8 light orange loops and 14 of bright orange beads. At the beginning of the brush, the loops consist of 5 beads, but gradually their number increases.
Such a simple pattern of weaving allows us to independently choose the length of the brush and adjust its splendor. However, do not forget that the wisteria branches should not lie on the "ground".
Next, we will need to make about 40 branches of green. They are woven according to the same principle, but in the end these green branches should turn out to be less dense. In addition, they must have different lengths. One branch consists of about 5-9 leaves.
Then we will need to collect our tree. The top of the wisteria will consist exclusively of green twigs, and the bottom of orange and yellow brushes.
You will need to first twist the small bundles of twigs with a thin wire, and then the bundles of the brushes. They will need to be screwed tightly to the barrel made of thick wire.

Of course, right away it will be quite difficult for you to make a beautiful "composition". However, over time, you will definitely learn how to do this.
Next, you will need to wrap the entire barrel with wire with your own hands. Do this very carefully so that it is flat and smooth.
Then you will have to wrap all the branches with threads, and the trunk itself with sticky floral tape. Try not to have ugly gaps.
Now you can place the wisteria in the special wooden stand. You will need to pre-drill 1 large and 2 small holes in it. You will insert the barrel itself into the large hole, and stretch the ends of the wire into the small ones and fix them well.
To hide the protruding ends of the wire, you can glue moss around them. You can also place small wooden figures next to the tree or attach a beautiful wire bench. You can also create it yourself.
The beaded wisteria is ready! See how beautifully her brushes shimmer and how the leaves sparkle in the rays of the sun.

Options for future masterpieces

Of course, in their natural habitat, wisterias are mainly found, the color of which ranges from light pink to deep purple. But creating such beautiful
, we can fantasize a little and make them unusual and fantastic. In order to "catch" inspiration and see some new ideas, let's look at the photos of finished works:
Wisteria at dusk This photo clearly shows that the branches and brushes of this evening wisteria are made according to the same pattern. They are mixed with each other and seem to be one.

This work has a very interesting foundation. A mixture of crushed moss, sand and grass was used to decorate the base. In order to achieve such a stunning effect, you must first spread the base with glue, then sprinkle with a pre-prepared mixture and sprinkle with regular hairspray at the end.
The pond is made of a gel candle and sparkles. A charming boat made of beads and several lilies float in it.
Delicate pink wisteria from beads
This tree is 65 cm wide and 75 cm high. Please note that the weaving technique for brushes and leaves is different in this work. However, perhaps because of this, this wonderful wisteria stands out favorably against the background of other similar trees.
Keeper of the Key
Great work with a unique small waterfall stand. The tree has a rather massive thick trunk and the same branches, but, nevertheless, the whole composition as a whole still seems fragile, delicate, just magical.
We suggest watching a short video, which presents wisterias of different shapes, colors and techniques.
